Aaron Zehner was born and raised in the mid-west. He holds a Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from UW-Oshkosh which has proven extremely useful in covering up a small part of his bedroom wall. He is an old guard metalhead, a cancer survivor, a martial arts black belt and a hoarder of bizarre objects and memories. Major writing influences include Kurt Vonnegut, Fyodor Dostoevsky, George Orwell and Lemmy from Motorhead. When not dreaming, compulsively writing or inhaling Latvian grain products he enjoys death sports, relaxing walks in nature and the endless pursuit of aesthetics. The Foolchild Invention is his first novel.
